The all new vegweb gift exchange poll!

yo vegweb, it seems at least a few people are pretty keen for another gift exchange in the next little while.
so, first off, post here if you would be interested in participating so we can get a feel for numbers.
Also, any thoughts on a theme/whether you even want a theme?

For anyone who hasn't participated before:

as per standard gift exchange guidelines:

1.  You must have been active on the forums for at least 6 months OR have 1,000 posts.  If you've been here a while you're more likely to send out your package. 

2.  Don't flake on your partner, just like you wouldn't want your partner to flake on you.  If you're unsure whether you'll have time/money to get a package together, don't sign up.

3.  Bring it!  Don't send out something crappy!

4.  Homemade and/or store bought goodies are welcome.

5. This is an ALL VEGAN exchange.

Wow, I just read the fine print and I don't qualify - neither in time nor amount of posts. I am sure someone is going to be very disappointed at the thwarted opportunity to send me something very cool.

this is such a crap idea.  Who the hell would even consider doing a gift exchange with random interwebs people?  Honestly.

yup, just keep hanging around and contributing to vegweb and you'll be able to participate in future.
Everyone is more comfortable with handing out addresses to established members of the vw community who we 'know' a bit more.

re: the themes, we don't have to have one, just a few suggestions.   

Base, there are always cookies!!

I'm in depending on when the deadline is. :)

Oh, and I chose spring/changing of the seasons because we've been innundated with rain lately, but cookies are good too!! And who says cookies can't be "springy?"

I've both sent and received non-packaged baked goods here in NZ with no probs, as has oww, and I think possibly theo.

Alternative Baking Company is based in CA..... so one could consider those "regional" for You, if'n that's Our theme. :)

And again, cookies are good for ANY exchange/occasion/day/whateverexcuseYouwant.
