The Cheesy R&B Appreciation Thread - Haters don't even think about it.

This thread is to express our mutual adoration for cheesy R&B pop songs.

***Haters unwelcome***
Comments like "What has music come to?" and "I really don't like R&B," and "I don't know any of these songs!" are annoying, unproductive and kind of make you look like a pretentious douche.  This thread is for people who ARE interested.  If you're not interested go make a different thread.

Moving on.  Please post your favorites.  My entire workout playlist is pretty much cheesy R&B, and some not cheesy.

I was telling veganhippie that this is my current obsession:

Is it cheesy to love that song by Mary J. Blige....I think it's called "Let's get it Crunk" or something like that. It's a few years old, but I just love it.

I'm partial to James Brown and Smokey Robinson, myself.....but then, I'm old (and I don't really think they're cheesy).  I haven't heard of any of these guys that are posted.  I guess I shall have to put on my ears and indulge in the cheese! ;D

I know nothing really about R&B and didn't think I liked it because of the silly lyrics, but I started listening to it at the gym and I can go harder and longer with a strong beat playing, so I'm no longer a hater.
