Curiousity may just kill this cat

So, whatever happened to snowqueen?  Does she still come around these parts?

Mmmmmmkay, I'm gonna go away for a while, but I want answers when I get back.
Just make something up if you want.

She's the single, working mother of a toddler, dude. She probably hasn't had time to sleep, let alone log onto VW.

"Curiosity killed the cat, but Lydia Pinkham's brought it back!"
(Lydia Pinkham's Medicinal Compound, famed in song and story.)

Oh wow, seriously..is that what that song says?
It has been SO bastardised here in NZ!!!!!

Seriously the words I learned from toddlerhood were:

Pink-a pink-a pink-a Lily the pink-a pink-a pink....

It's meant to be LYDIA PINKHAM?!

Well the line was a joke "slogan" for LP's Medicinal compound. The song was a joke about how it cured (or killed) everything.

"We'll drink a drink a drink
To Liddy the Pink, the Pink, the Pink
The saviour of the human ra-hay-hace
She invented Medicinal Compound,
Tis efficacious in every case."

Sample verse:
Roddy Paul, he was very small, he
Was the shortest man in tow-how-hown,
Rubbed his body with Medicinal Compound
Now he wieghs only half a pound.

There are more. I used to drive my mom nuts singing the whole thing.

The stuff existed and was actually a laxative but was sold as a cure-all for "women's problems."

OMGeeee! You can still GET the stuff on Amazon!! I don't know who wrote the blurb, pace the grammatical and syntactical errors, but here it is:
Product Description
Lydia Pinkham Herbal Formula first introduced in 1875, and since then have been used by generations of women the world over. The formula was developed by a knowledgeable, caring woman, Lydia Pinkham. The formula contains a blend of 7 natural herbs plus Iron, Calcium and Vitamins C & E. Contains a proprietary blend of Dandelion Root, Black Cohosh Root, Jamaica Dogwood Bark, Motherwort Leaf, Pleurisy, Licorice Root and Gentian Root.

Note: "Pleurisy" is a respiratory disease, not an herb. I wonder what they mistyped.
