First Celebrity Crush?

I am watching a few 80s movie with Steven Guttenburg.  Yes, I will admit he was my first crush.  I was very young, about 4 or5, and very impressionable.  He was also cute back then.  Had mad crushes on Keanu Reeves and Johnny Depp, too.

Anyone else willing to admit their first crush?

River Phoenix, Leo DiCaprio (started when he was on Growing Pains)... and to a lesser extent JTT.

Elijah Wood, Sean Astin ( Mikey from the Goonies, Sam from LOTR), Corey Feldman.

You can see the connection between LOTR and The Goonies ahaha.

that's all I can think of currently.

Oh, I remember the big hoopla over Casper.  The only reason I watched that movie was for that part he became alive for the dance. Many of us have been there...

Nice! ;)b
To remember my early crushes, I just had to visualize my pink room as a pre-teen & all the posters I had up.

Ah, Eric...I just watched "Some Kind of Wonderful" again & saw his new commentary--what a cutie. Plus, I think he's veg!
p.s. Have you also had crushes on any of these peeps: Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, and Nicolas Cage? I know I'll remember more later...

Oh man.

Jonathan Taylor Thomas.
If JTT asked me to marry him right now I would say yes.  I think he's probably gay, but it doesn't matter.

Also, Erik von Detten.
He was in that Leave it to Beaver movie.  No one really cares who he is.  I still think he is hot.

I also used to have a crush on Tony Danza that was a little bit disturbing in retrospect given how old he really was at the time.  Well, he was what, 30 when Who's the Boss was made?

I liked Italian-looking boys a lot.  Ralph Macchio was another. And that kid in Air Bud.  I kind of shifted from blondies to darker babes.  In my earlier days I was fond of Devon Sawa, Nick Carter and that other brother from Home Improvement.  I did love Sean Astin in LOTR but that's mostly due to the character.  Real life Sean Astin is NOT attractive to me.  Elijah Wood was pretty legit but I no longer find him remotely attractive.  Interesting.  Anyway I could go on and on.  Good topic.

eta:  Shane West is another good one, Sarah.  Also, Tucker from Are You Afraid of the Dark.  Is that weird?  It makes me feel uneasy.  :D

Another Leo DiCaprio fan here...I remember having magazine pictures of him I had clipped taped to my school binder. ::swoon:: lol I must admit, I think he's become much more attractive as he has aged.

Looking back, it's amazing I didn't become a smoker.  I was infatuated with the "bad" people.

Judd Nelson!

I am ashamed to admit it, but...Davy Jones of the Monkees. I thought he was the greatest thing since tie shoes. I saw The Monkees TV show about 10 years ago and thought...dear lord, the man is all nose!!

Later, it was Tony Curtis. As my folks had a black and white TV, it wasn't until I got The Persuaders on DVD that I learned he had blue eyes!! You could have knocked me down with a paper clip. (Not only that but his hair colour and density changes in that series, not just from one episode to another but sometimes from one scene to another.)

Oh yeah, Scott Baio (sp?). But Tony Curtis haunted my dreams until I got married.

These days, here's "the list":
Samuel L. Jackson
Al Pacino (even at his age, he's still got it.)
Denzel Washington (as he was)
Lawrence Fishburne
and a French actor whose name I can never remember without looking online.

Johnny Depp is my husband.

He used to be mine too!  I loved Crybaby with a passion.  And Patrick Swayze in Dirty Dancing.  I had this cardboard tube that I drew a face on and pretended it was him and danced with him.

How could I forget Yul Brynner? I first saw the Ten Commandments when I was about 8...him and that exotic face and that sexy braid. Or at least I thought it was sexy then. Must have been at age 8 that I acquired my taste for bald (or as I like to call it, "topless") men.
