The Grain Elimination Game: GO TO POLL
The rules:
1. you may vote once per day
2. you vote by adding a point to a grain you like, and subtracting a point from one you don't
3. once a grain has 0 points, it is eliminated and cannot be voted for again
4. the game ends with a poll where you vote for one option.
note - "wheat" refers to refined wheat (white flour, regular pasta/couscous, etc). both wheats include stuff like semolina/durum, hard/soft varieties. "rice" refers to white rices. Corn includes stuff like polenta, grits, masa, etc.

I can't be responsible for the demise of bulgar, I like it too much. Someone else will have to do the dishonor.

Not an oat hater, but they're only good for making cookies.

NOOOOOOOOOO! It would be tantamount to eating wallpaper paste!
Give me a bowl of breakfast quinoa instead!

Damn, what are they teaching in schools these days?! Um, heard of "oatmeal?" It is your friend!
Give me a bowl of breakfast quinoa instead!
Yeah, hopefully you stayed up all night cooking it, and rinsing, and cooking, and adding more water, and scrapping it off the bottom of the pot, and addiing more water, and cooking more, and praying that it will be done before lunch. I get my oatmeal on in seconds; it aims to please and it does it quickly and thoroughly, never asking for anything in return like selfish quinoa!
Quinoa: Make it for breakfast, it'll be done by dinner!
Oatmeal: The original fast food! AND you can flippin' pronouce it! Quinoa, and uppity words/foods/phrases like it, is the reason everyone hates vegans!
NOOOOOOOOOO! It would be tantamount to eating wallpaper paste!
I really don't understand what is behind such charges. Perhaps you had a bad oatmeal experience in childhood? Well that is over. We are not kids anymore. Oatmeal is serious food for serious people.
Make too much? Use as a facial mask, easing away those fine lines and wrinkles, or soothe some rough skin, or soak in it for supple, rash free goodness.
Make too little? Make more...Quickly!
Has anyone tried to soak in quinoa? You'd spend days picking it out of your hair and God knows where else.
Oatmeal! Why? Because i'ts the RIGHT THING TO DO
Charlie=my new best friend.
Aw :)>>>
Oatmeal = everybody's best friend!
Oatmeal is the reason I became vegan. As an impulse buy last fall at Sam's club, I bought 18 lbs of it (yep) and needed something to do with it all. I searched on the web for things to do with it. The first site I found was *vegweb.com* (no fooling!) and a recipe for oatmeal veggie burgers. I ate them for weeks! I was so thrilled that I could do something with oatmeal besides breakfast cereal, that I searched other recipes on vegweb. Soon I joined the site (mostly so I could spread the good news in the forums where there is so much oatmeal misinformation flying around) and in a couple months I was vegan.
Oatmeal = world peace.
I just had a bowl for lunch - with peanut butter :)>>> If I wasn't out of peanut butter, I would have a second bowl right now.
