Hair removal poll

I'm just curious as to what method people favour. Guys can participate too--I know swimmers etc who wax body hair off or whatever.
Ever since I was 11 years old I have used manual razors. The limited mobility I've had in my R arm has created a blind spot and this summer I cut myself trying to shave my armpits because I couldn't see what I was doing. So I bought an electric shaver. It was hideously expensive, to my mind (accustomed to cheap disposable razors) but then I thought--how many of those disposable razors have I used and tossed over the years (37 to be precise)? Surely I could have paid for an electric shaver several times over, not to mention wasted plastic and metal.
Has anyone used the laser method? Is it any good?
preserve razors

i really dislike the preserve razors. i got the disposable ones, or like the one time use ones and they were awful. i just bought some disposable ones from cvs, and the handle on those is compostable, and those work really well.
I don't know how to answer this as I use different methods for different areas. My underarms and legs I shave. My bikini area gets waxed. My eyebrows get plucked.

Shoot, I tried to let you have more than one choice and it didn't. And now I can't seem to change it. Rats.
I voted for waxing as I prefer to get my legs and bikini line waxed due to laziness (I'm too lazy to shave all the time and I don't like those areas to be hairy)
I shave my underarms, as I don't find that too much hassle to do every few days.
I get my upper lip and eye brows threaded. I used to pluck my eyebrows and use hair removal cream for my upper lip, but after having them threaded I would not go back as the results are much better and longer lasting.....and I'm lazy and can't be bothered to pluck every few days - threading lasts 2 - 3 weeks for me for eyebrows and 4-6 weeks for my upper lip.
But threading is bastard painful, and always makes me cry when I get my upper lip done (not sob or anything but tears pour out of my eyes) - it always makes my threader laugh!
shell, what is threading??
Wax when I can be bothered. Good because I'm lazy and don't really care about being hairy in between, and shaving irritates my skin. Going to try the lemon and sugar next though!
I used to always get my eyebrows threaded but again, lazy.

ooohhh yeah i've heard of that before. it looks like it hurts!!
no shaving for me.
The Bikini line runs wild unless I'm going swimming, then I shave. The legs get shaved in the summer and maybe 2-3 times during the winter.... my pits get shaved when I feel too manly.... I shave my upper lip although I do want to switch to waxing....and I pluck my eyebrows but it's probably been over a year.
Wow I'm furry......
VH - I'm not gonna answer you co\ theo alreaddy has, but threading is GREAT!!! I love it. Because it does a whole lot at a time, I find I fell smoother after threading compared to plucking.
I'm also lucky coz there's a cheap place just opposite my hospital, and she's a really nice woman.
I have found it's cheaper than paying to get my eyebrows plucked....and I'm not very good at doing them myself.
I have to get my eyebrows done, otherwise I do get a monobrow.
Fuf, I'm like you, I shave my legs only in the summer and not often. When I had untreated thyroid disease I could just snap the hairs off with my fingers! I shave my pits whenever I start to notice them...keeps the smell down.
I pluck my eyebrows and use a razor for the rest when I want to. The rest of the time I am a yeti.
I use a combo of shaving and waxing.
How does the lemon and sugar work?
How does the lemon and sugar work?
Same principle as waxing. You make a lemon and sugar syrup and apply it and then strip it off. It's very popular among Arab women. Somebody on maybe (?) the hair-washing thread was considering trying it.
i was but i did it wrong. :[
i use the razor when i shave, sometimes it can be a bit delicate when shaving certain parts, but the razor for me works the best.
