I got my wisdom teeth pulled....

I got all 4 pulled this morning, and now I look like a chipmunk lol.

What I really need is, suggestions on foods to eat for the next week, or until the stitches fall out. I can't eat hard food or drink anything through a straw, or anything too hot or too cold. Suggestions please? I can't eat only applesauce lol.

Gazpacho is good at room temperature, and guacamole.

mashed potatoes, or mashed cauliflour, try smoothies with protien powder, make them more liquid and don't use a straw.  If you like tofu scrambles, try those.  Refried beans.

Toss some fresh fruit into a food processor. I didn't have any problem with cold food, nor was I told to avoid it. I had a lot of smoothies with a spoon.

hummus - make the 'creamy, restaurant style hummus' recipe on this site - i ate a good portion of it off a spoon.

Pudding would be good and you can make chocolate "pudding" pretty easily with silken tofu and melted chocolate chips.  I'm sure there are lots of recipes on here for something similar with different flavors.

Hmmm...what else?  Mashed sweet potatoes are tasty luke warm.  Also, nut butters are at room temp and would give you some protein.

When I had my wisdom teeth taken out, I would slightly overcook noodles (to make them a little softer) and eat them with some veggie broth.  You can sneak some veggies in there too if you like mushy carrots or potatoes!

PS.  I hope you recover quickly  :)

Just put EVERYTHING in a blender. I had my teeth wired together for two months which taught me that even a traditional roast dinner tastes pretty swank in smoothie form. Also, welcome to wisdom tooth-free life! It's AWESOME.
