I miss...

I thought we could use a post like this. List the things, the people, the whatevers you miss. This could be as simple as saying "I miss my TV show..." or "I miss him/her/it..." I'll start.
I miss traveling. Last year I took two trips and I loved it. I loved going to the different airports, riding on the planes, and arriving at my destination. I always loved airports and their energy...even though last year I had to sleep on the concrete floor. Haha! So yeah, I miss traveling.
I miss summer.

I keep forgetting I'm in a different climate. I guess, thinking about it, that if I lived where you do, where winters are tough, I would miss summer more than I do here. Here, "winter" is like a long-drawn-out American autumn, and "summer" is absolute hell. In fact resident expats have a saying about it: "En España hay dos temporadas: invierno, e infierno."

i miss pk... i just realized i had a full inbox on vegweb today and was going through some old messages. he's no where (that i know of) on the internet anymore and the last message i got from him he was pretty upset :-/.. I hope he's doing ok/I miss him.
I miss George Carlin! We really need a foul-mouthed, opinionated, speak-your-mind kinda guy. No, not ranting like Dennis Miller. George Carlin had a style that was special. He knew how to do it. He was a real "fuck you" to the system. I loved it.
Maybe I can follow in his footsteps........ :)

....this is a terrible thing to say, but I wish Dennis Miller had died instead of ol' George. THAT guy actually had some great things to say.

I miss my "aunt" Cindi.
...so. fucking. much.
if I could have no one else come to my wedding, I'd have those two women there to celebrate with Us. ....and I'm pretty sure I'm going to ruin my face bigtime right before the ceremony because I'll be crying and wishing they were here, and cursing the fact that they'll never get to meet James. gahh.

In regards to the second set of comments - You're right. I've been silenced way too long! I've got the passion, the opinions, and the ability to step back and look at the larger picture..I just need to get organized. If I'm going to speak my mind, I'm going to do it right. Thank you for your encouragement (and everyone else I've talked to that have pushed me)! :)
