Just a little fun. Can you think of names that would go particularly well with certain occupations?
Like the barmaid I met IRL whose name was "Phyliss Glass."
I can think of one. Justin Case, seller of disaster-survival kits.
What others can you come up with?
(Do try to keep it clean, this is a family board!) ;)b
These are lame contributions but: I've had a history teacher called Mr King and an English teacher called Miss Read.
Not occupational, but I actually went to high school with a boy named Benjamin Dover. Yeah. Ben Dover.

PLease, please tell me she pronounced it like the past tense!! ;) I've often been misread, myself...
This is kind of related. I work for a company that does educational testing. We write statewide assessments for K-12 and we hire people to read and score them. The supervisors in the two divisions at our office are Holly Wright and Holly Reed (me). People at the office sometimes joke about changing the name of the company to Reed/Read and Wright/Write. Interestingly, she is in charge of the reading and I am in charge of the writing.
We had a dermatologist at my last hospital called Dr Cream
My friend's dad had a colonoscopy done by Dr. Rammadge. :-D
I had a woodwork teacher called Mr. Boxall, and at the same school there was a science teacher called Mr. Petrie.
Oh! I just remembered our highschool pottery teacher: Mr Potts.
Srsly!

I used to know a psychology teacher named Miss Batty.
Our vet's name is Dr. Kidney, and he did test my cat for kidney problems.

Spanish names are way fun. I can't give you a lot of examples cuz I don't know how large the Spanish speaking group is on VW, but.
Back in about 1987 my parents came for a visit (we were still family then). My mom had serious heart arrythmia (overtired, refused to slow down) so I took her to the ER. The cardiologist who saw her was named Dr. Verdugo. "Executioner." When I asked him if he got teased in med school, he didn't get it so I dropped it--quick.

At least they didn't name her Raisin.... ;)
my yoga instructor was named Anitta Mann. she said that throughout high school and early adulthood she never understood why people would giggle at her name. then, one day, she got it.
My doctor when I was a kid was called Dr Bones! Honestly! Great name for a doc!!!
