Hey, so I'm taking a "contemporary social issues" class this semester and one of our assignments is to make a journal about social problems. We are supposed to be looking at the world around us and finding evidence of "social problems." Mainly these are supposed to come from news articles but she invited us to be creative so we could chose art that illustrates a problem, a comic strip, a movie, etc....

I'm trying REALLY hard this semester to cut down on my use of paper where possible and I think this is a great opportunity to BLOG!!! I got permission from my instructor to submit this assignment in Blog form. I'm really excited. I started a biog at "blogger.com" because it was free, but i dint know anything about HOW to blog.  ::) I wanted to find an article about the Holocaust shooting and talk about prejudice and intolerance, but I'm finding posting an article is really challenging! You have to find an article that has a link to your blogsite, and that has been hard to do for me. :-\

Soooo....you guys have any advice, are there any good sites that teach basic blogging? Ive kept a live journal, but thats not really the same and I don't want to use the same host for my livejournal and my school blog...too many scary possibilities.

Any seasoned bloggers out there?

I also want my blog to be creative and enjoyable, but that might be too much for a first time blogger, hummmm...welll...thoughts?
