NVR, MP3 question

Hi VWers!
Strange question here. I have 2 mp3 players, one a Creative ZenStone and one no-brand, Chinese made cheapo. Well, not-so-cheapo, either, but no brand name or anything. The man in the shop said it was the kind you charge the battery on the computer USB port.
I have the wall-socket charger for the ZenStone player, and it has the same kind of socket for connecting it to the player for charging. Can I use the ZS charger with the cheaper player, or do I run a risk of damaging it? I only ask because the wall charger seems to charge the ZenStone better than plugging it into the PC, and the PC charge of the cheap player doesn't seem to last very long, 8 hrs max.
If it was mine....I'd use the wall charger for both. I honeslty think that companies that tell you not to mix accessories (such as chargers, bluetooth headsets, etc) just want you to buy their products. I could see mixing products as an issue with high technology products of some sort, but I doubt you can "fry" something in either player. Do you happen to have the user manual to reference??
There isn't a manual with the no-brand Chinese player. There are hardly instructions with it. It's made to look kind of like an Ipod Nano but without the screen. Put it this way, the salesman saw my hubby coming. There is literally no brand mark on it anywhere, on the packaging or anything.
I want to say that it would probably be ok, but I am uncertain...
Also, check this:

Well it's been plugged into the USB hub since 11 AM and it's now 5 PM and the red light is still on. So I am plugging it into the wallsocket charger and letting things take their course.
