Poll: Look like fries or not

Someone commented that this picture looks like some fries lol. Tell me what you think. If you guys like it looks like fries I'll take it down. Fries were not what I was going for lol.

i can see where fries came from, but i definitely said out loud to myself: "no, it looks like apples"

lol I actually never thought of it looking like fries. I hope the recipe author hasn't seen it. :o
I'll be honest--the first time I saw that pic I thought it was a plate of thick-cut fries.

I did indeed think it looked like the exact fries I make with red potatoes. But I don't put mine in a pie shell. Sorry, I am full of odd humor at this late hour of 6:52.
But I agree that there is no need to take it down- it is a fun & different way to cut apples.

Oh yeah, it looks like fries. But like nice, healthy, possibly oven roasted fries, on a bed of freshly cooked rice. I'd only be concerned if it looked like lukewarm hybrid McDonald's fries, or some other sort of dehydrated-potato-flake reconstructed snack. Or if it resembled a cat or some other nonfood substance (like McDonald's fries).
