Russian speaking LOLcats!

A friend of mine sent me this link, and I knew there were some Russian speakers on VW so I had to share. I don't speak Russian myself but there are English translations for us lumpenproles.
These are brilliant! Loads of the captions are written in rhyme and are really cute. Yabbit, I hope you figured out that the 'translations' actually aren't translations at all?

For example the "translation" is "Alarm!! Don your masks or you will dance the sarin jig this night!!!" but the text reads "Hey, owner! Let's play elephants!" Hilarious if you speak Russian too ;D

Actually, now that I've read through them and read all the captions in Russian, they aren't really that funny. The fake translations are a lot funnier.

Yeah they have that really unnecessary Russian sentimentality all the way through. But http://kotomatrix.ru is really good.
Well, I did think that it was rather "Chekov meets the Lolcat", but then I never managed to learn to read or speak Russian, in spite of all Dr Jamosky's efforts... :-\
