My friend was kind enough to send me this link...ugh.

I'm not sure what to think about this except...some of them are pretty gross.
This is too funny. I just met a new guy yesterday and somehow the topic came up that I am on a vegan forum that has a poop thread. I'm sure I really impressed him. Then I come on today and there is yet another poop thread. I agree it shouldn't be trying to make vegan food look so bad, but it's still pretty awesome.
And Cockfosters. oh lordy, I love it.
I totally love the cat poop cake. WANT!
I went to a tube station party once and was trying to persuade N to go as Cockfosters - just to go naked with his cock in a can of Fosters Lager. For some reason he did not want to go like that.
You made me laugh on this awful Sunday! Thank you, shell. Thank you.

This is why you're on equal footing with Gary for our nuptuals.
That list really need to include a chocolate/fudge frosting of some nature.
I feel like another thing here is, omni's don't really take pictures of the food the way that many vegans do for Food Pr0n and such. They don't realize that a poorly styled food shot does look like poop. They should try taking pictures of their own meals and see how appetizing it looks.
I feel like someone should send them a link to keda or vegansapien's photos! :)
One time dh got a homemade veggie black bean burger at a restaurant. It wasn't very good. It was characteristically mushy, and then coated in cornmeal.
Each time he ate a bite, the bean mush was squishing out the sides of the bun and landing on his plate. The cornmeal coating really made it look like our cat's litter box. Little brown/black mushy pieces covered in litter.
It was hilarious! :-D
We haven't been back because the food was not that great, but we sure did snarf a lot over our food as his plate was being filled up with cat poo.
and I would totally try every single one of these dishes...
i too enjoy the poop jokes here and there..Go Vegans!
Shelloid, I cannot imagine why N would not want to go out like that, no, not at all...
i didn't think those things really looked gross or like poop unless you were looking at them with the idea of "let's see how this looks like poop". with the EXCEPTION of the cat poop cake which i've seen in omni versions many times and it is MADE to look like poop.
that was dumb.
you guuuys, why criticize? sometimes, when me and dustin are cooking, we're like: "this looks like poop! i love when my food looks like poop."
apparently, someone also once asked him why everything he makes looks like poop. haha.
i just like when food is all mushed together into goodness. lotsa times it turns brown or brown-ish.
when brittney and i first got together, she was not a vegetarian. you could always tell the difference between our plates because hers was all brown (just meats, breads, and fried things) and mine was really pretty and colourful with veggies, fruits, legumes, etc. my food is rarely brown unless i make a stew or something OR if it was something that started as brown in the first place. you must like your food really over cooked like how my mother-in-law cooks. hers is seriously just a half baby step away from gerber!
hehe Every time I make lentil curry, or chilli, or something else like that, Smooch says, "I hat to tell you this, but it looks like Molly pooped on your plate" We find it very amusing.
