Yo, Vegweb, it's gift exchange time! ALL PACKAGES SHOULD BE POSTED!
It seems it's that time again...
Post in this thread if you're keen on participating in a gift exchange with your fellow vegwebbers.
Theme/dates to be decided - any ideas welcome.
Standard guidelines apply - don't ask to participate if you have fewer than 1,000 posts or have not been actively posting on the forums for at least six months. Stick around, get to know people a bit more, and join in next time.

*GENERAL EXCHANGE GUIDELINES*
1. You must have been active on the forums for at least 6 months OR have 1,000 posts. If you've been here a while you're more likely to send out your package.
2. Don't flake on your partner, just like you wouldn't want your partner to flake on you. If you're unsure whether you'll have time/money to get a package together, don't sign up.
3. Bring it! Don't send out something crappy!
4. Homemade and/or store bought goodies are welcome.
5. This is an ALL VEGAN exchange.
FASTEST EVER
Impressive, hh. I've barely even started planning.
jesus christ. sick, my ass.
and nobody go buy any of the stuff you said you wanted!
Being sick makes things seem "good enough", which helped speed along the process.

Ha! That was me the last time. I said I wanted a rolling garlic chopper. That got me thinking about it and I nearly bought one, not thinking I'd be gifted one, but Sarah sent the exact one I was looking at with lust.
Way to go HH!
I found one little thing for my person today, and while browsing the kitchen stuff 'almost' got something I listed as wanting....almost an oopsie...but saved!

8-)
I'm going to stalk this thread to look at fun packages. I shall live through all of your gifts.
what is your favorite cuisine to eat? Thai, Indian, Ethiopian, Mediterranean
what about to cook? Indian, American comfort food
what kitchen gadgets would you like? I need a good vegetable peeler. I use a shitty pairing knife and it does the job pretty well, but when I'm hungover I'm afraid of slicing part of my flesh off into some (similarly colored) beets. I also would like measuring cups, a good pairing knife, and a blowjob.
And, my giftee needs to fear for her life. Seriously. You're fucked.
sb u are by far the funniest mofo on earth <3
SB and I discussed what he is gonna send last night while drinking heavily.......Seriously giftee....be scared!!
oh my gosh!

LOVE.
Wow, hh, how on earth did you get your package mailed so quickly? lol! Way to go! ;)b
I've got some plans, just need to shop! My hubby said he'd take a half day from work one day next week to take me to get some things for my pal though, so hugs to my sweetie! :)>>>
base has locked himself into to producing fearful awesomeness.
I'd say I can't wait to see the pictures, but they may not be post-able. eta: Oh, wait, it's us. They'll be posted.
I have a garlic twist, measuring spoons/cups
shell - Do you have US measuring cups and spoons?
nope, I have cheapo NZ measuring cups/spoons but they're ok. Not really sure how much difference the US ones would make.
QUESTION
If your gifter ordered something that you'll probably like a whole lot (better!), but the order is now delayed for some reason, would you want the package on time (without that item), or package whenever order came in, with all items?
this is hypothetical as the order will hopefully come in enough time for deadline, but the possibility is there.
My person will hopefully be super happy with my package, because I think it's awesome so far.

Base ~ I'm scared for your giftee (especially if it's me)!
AC ~ I wouldn't care either way.
