Breakfast Bundle

Ingredients: 

Walnut Cream Mixture:

1 cup finely chopped walnuts

2 tablespoons agave or maple syrup

2 tablespoons finely grated orange zest

1/2 cup raw cashew cream

Breakfast Bundle:

1/2 teaspoon virgin coconut oil

1/4 cups freshly squeezed orange juice

10 fresh figs (Brown Turkey Figs)

1/2 cup raw walnut cream, mixed with 2 T. water

Directions: 

Walnut Cream Mixture:

1. In a bowl, combine the walnuts, agave nectar, and orange zest; stir to throughly combine. Pour on cashew cream; toss to coat.

Breakfast Bundle:

2. Grease bottom of baking pan with the coconut oil. Pour in orange juice.

3. Cut the figs lengthwise, but do not cut all of the way through on side of the fig (the two halves are still connected by the bottom). Put a tablespoon of the walnut cream mixture inside of each halved fig. Surround figs with walnut cream sprinkling remaining walnuts on top.

4. Bake in 400 degree F oven for 20 minutes.
