unsweetened yogurt?

Hello,
I am looking for a good vegan substitute for yogurt. I eat a lot of yogurt, mainly plain unsweetened yogurt (I am Indian and eat a lot of food with yogurt. rice with yogurt, chapati with yogurt, vegetables with yogurt, potatoes with yogurt, everything with yogurt). However, I have been unable to find a good vegan substitute that is NOT sweet. All of the plain soy yogurts at my local stores have some form of sweetener. Coconut milk yogurt is already sweet. All the other types of non-diary yogurt I have found are also either naturally sweet or sweetened.
Are there any brands of non sweetened non dairy yogurt that are available? any maybe even one that tastes like dairy yogurt?
Help would be appreciated!
Wildwood is the only unsweetened vegan yogurt on the market.
To me it tastes more like a light sour cream.

You can also make/ferment you own oat yogurt, which might be a good substitute for certain dishes?
thanks

How?
Silk also has an unsweetened yogurt. I used to get it all time at Whole Foods. I prefer the tartness of unsweetened yogurt to overly sweetened "regular" yogurt.
My favorite vegan yogurt is Nancy's plain. It's not nearly as sweet as most vegan yogurts & feels SO healthy in my system.
:)
Making your own yogurt is fairly easy, but somewhat time consuming. So far I've done batches using soy milk and a combo of almond and coconut milk as my base, and a spoonful of vanilla Silk (couldn't find unsweetened) as starter. You do need to add a bit of sugar, but the result isn't sweet since the bacteria gobble it up.
Here are a couple links you might find helpful:
Bryanna Clark Grogan's soy yogurt - very comprehensive, discusses the use of thickeners. You don't necessarily need them, but soy yogurt doesn't get as thick on its own as dairy yogurt. Just tapioca flour works ok, but tapioca + agar is thicker and creamier.

If you have more questions, just let me know! Making yogurt is sort of magical, and fun. :)

Unless they have a new product that isn't listed their website, all Silk yogurts are sweetened. even the plain. I would like to try the Nancy's, even if it is sweetened. but it isn't available here. I buy the plain Wildwood. I only use it in recipes, so I can't really say what it tastes like.
VegRunSki - I'm hypothyroid, so I avoid soy. Do you know how to make the oat yogurt that Eric mentioned? Do I just make oatmilk and then proceed with the next soy yogurt steps?
Here is a link for the oat yogurt. http://vegpeace.org/oatyogurt.html I haven't gotten around to making it yet. :)
Thanks!!! That's a totally do-able process. I think I even have oat groats in my cupboard.
yeah, im definitely trying the oat yogurt! yogurt used to be my FAVORITE!! but vegan yogurt is just sooo expensive..and silk tastes gross to me. i love the coconut ones. perooo too expensive, meng.
Oat yogurt is interesting to me, but from the pictures I've seen, I'm not sure if the texture would be appealing. Maybe I'll try it sometime when I'm feeling adventurous. :)
You can make yogurt with non-dairy milks other than soy - I've used a combination of almond milk and coconut milk. Other nut milks should also work. For some reason, the website I linked above cautions against a combo of soy and rice milk, so I'm not sure if rice milk would work. Maybe it doesn't have enough protein to thicken?
