....waking up early and drinking a cup of hot, black organic coffee
....cognitive freedom (nobody can ever take that away!)
...running
....my family
...a clean house in general

Teach me your great ways, master!
8-)
drinking tea in the morning
reading Little Women
prayer
baking things for other people (and they tell you it was the best "_____" they've ever eaten)
kneading bread
Vermont (thinking about it, and actually being there)
singing when no one is home
finishing a sewing project
when my cat Sylvia will sit and watch a movie with me from start to finish
being greeted by Sylvia when I come home
the feeling that comes when you know something you did has blessed someone else
All of these, except the baking things part which unfortunately I don't do anymore, and the VT part cuz I've never actually been there.
--watching a movie you've seen so many times, it's like visiting friends.
I have two people at work that are interested in being a veggies.
Slowly converting carnivore country one person at a time ;)b
Now I would be super happy to find me a veggie mate.
Rocking my daughter after she falls asleep.
Sleep, in general.
Silence, as in nothing but the static of the baby monitor.
When I finally get my house cleaned, those 5 min before it gets messy again. PRICELESS!!
When someone else does the laundry.
Reading mindless trashy romance novels.
Cooking
The smiles on my kids when they first get up in the morning.
When my sons talk using actual words. They are both Autistic so this means a lot.
When people ask for my recipies and are shocked they are gluten free and vegan.
When people ask for my recipies and I say "Oh, I just made it up"!
Eating veggies you just picked while still standing in the garden, YUMMY.
Magically erasing boo boos and ouchies with a kiss and a hug.
Finding products that are both GF and Vegan.
Back rubs from my hubby.
Coming home to my dogs welcomes
Seeing my horse trotting sound and painfree after 18mths of agony and vets treatments.
Smell of fresh laundry.
My cat laying on my pillow, sounding like a little outboard engine.
Finding vegan food in supermarkets.
Knowing that after alot of patience, my 15 yr old niece ( who came to live with me ) is growing into a beautiful young lady.
Being able to listen to Britney Spears really loud because my roommate is gone for the weekend and normally I'm too embarrassed. Today is a good day :)

Dh rubbing my feet
my son saying "i love you" at the most random moments
good hair days
getting a great haircut
when i grab the exact amount of something I need (like exactly 28 napkins to roll silverware or something and it was the right amount)
remembering the grocery list and getting everything on it
when dh gets up with the boys on the weekend so i can sleep in
I am really happy to wake up in such a wonderful mood today :P
Finally finishing a tough job.
Today's happinesses are...
the heavenly snow! (I live in South Carolina, so snow is a rare treasure.)
seeing my cat Sylvia enjoy her first snow
beginning to make plans for the spring garden
trying a new bread recipe while wearing the apron I recently finished
Rachel Ann! I'm in SC too....in Columbia. We didn't get snow, but school was cancelled anyway. :)

How neat! I think you're the only other person I've seen on vegweb from SC. I'm sure there are others I don't know of, though. We got about three inches of snow in Greenville last night, but it's all melting away today unfortunately.
sleep
no phones ringing.
running outside.
the gym when there's very little people there.
This thread is so spirit-lifting! I keep realizing what things I should do/experience more often!
My Top 5:
Walking barefoot in the woods, through streams and climbing trees
sleeping children or animals
purring cats
the sun shining on my face in the morning
a good hard cry.
Not being able to think of anything that made me happy today and then getting happy by reading what other people wrote. Thanks everybody! :)
Driving across the Howard Frankland bridge over Tampa Bay every morning with the horizon just turning pink as the sun rises behind the back drop of the city.
My buddy Darleen always cracks me up. She is in her late 80's and can be seen riding around town on the back or her son-in-laws motorcycle and sometimes jams with his band. (She plays a mean bass.) I was having a really rough St. Patricks Day....and then she showed up. How could I not cheer up?
aww how cute! she sounds cool
