This week's newsletter is all about summer's favorite treat, Ice Cream! Now that we've tempted you with tales of ice cream, we figured we'd better not leave you out in the cold. We're giving away a copy of The Vegan Scoop, a gorgeous full color cookbook that's filled with more recipes for ice cream (and its accoutrements!) than you can shake a waffle cone at. Oh, and there's a waffle cone recipe too!

cherry nirvana by purely decadent. i would buy a pint a day during finals week just to get through studying. i love how its not just vanilla ice cream, its flavored with a hint of cherry and then the chunks of fudge and whole cherries. oh man. so good.
I like the so delicious coconut ice cream on the stick covered with dark chocolate and almonds.
Or the praline pecan.
Probably the only soy ice cream I don't like is the plain vanilla. It leaves a wierd aftertaste.
I haven't been fortunate to have many, I lived in a tiny town in the midwest and they are not vegan friendly at all!! We moved out to Arizona and I've found Coconut Bliss dark chocolate ice cream. Ohhh it is soooooo good!!!!

seeing I've just figured out I have access to an ice cream machine.... I want in with this competition too : )
Not really had vegan icecream, but if I could frequent one of these magical vegan icecream shops I'd pick something awesome like mango and pineapple.

store bought i like purely decadent pb zigzag, tempt hemp mint chip, and purely decadent coconut milk cookie dough.

hesp, the other day i bought the tempt hemp mint chip and i swear i thought of you! i remembered that you like hemp milk and i thought to myself that you would probably enjoy this ice cream, too. how funny. i absolutely loved it! it was very yummy on some brownies, too.
my favorite is always any combination of mint and chocolate. the other day i made the mint chip with kale ice cream from this site (well, i sorta made it... it ended up being pretty much the same exact thing with a few variations) and it was absolutely delicious! i made at least half a gallon of it and it was gone within two days (and i ate it ALONE!).

oohh yes. I haven't had temptation's hemp chip, but I made my own once with chocolate hemp milk, soy cream, peppermint, and choc chips and it was SO good.
