What did you cook/eat today: Parents and Kids Edition!

So...who's willing to share what their kids actually eat on a day to day basis? My little girl is 7 and in 2nd grade in public school IN TEXAS, so almost everything she eats has to be homemade. She just ate hummus on toast and two pickles for breakfast because I'm busy answering work emails. Oops.

Yesterday:
B: vanilla Silk yogurt w/strawberries and blueberries. Chai for her, coffee for me.
L: Tacos w/black beans, spinach, salsa (avocado on mine), leftover rice
S: popcorn, smoothies
D: giant veggie stirfry (squash, broccoli, cabbage, baby bok choy, carrots, celery, green onion, garlic, snow peas) with tofu, steamed rice
We made some strawberry muffins (from Vegan Brunch) for dessert...and I had two glasses of wine  :P

Other parents...chime in please?

Yesterday
B-banana nut waffles from VCon
L-soy yogurt, toast w/ jelly and cream cheese, tortilla chips
D-"tuna" noodle casserole, yellow squash
D-cookies

Today-
B-another waffle w/ jelly
S-plum
L-will be mashed sweet potato, asparagus
D-will be chili and brown rice

oh yay, I was just thinking about this thread....Yes my kid definetly ate this summer, lots of veggies and berries from our garden!

D) some soup, some plain noodles, and some cashew cheese and brocolli pastsa

Today
B) french toast w/ brown rice syrup and EB
S) raisins
L) more soup

S-pb and j mojo bar
L- crackers, cream cheese, tofurkey, sunflower seeds, nori
S-annie's bunnies
D-frozen elmo dinner :-[

L-Asparagus and brocolli red lentil soup
and some seitan nuggets with ketchup
S-dehydrated bananas (aka "banana candy")

D-I don't know yet

Yesterday-

B- Tofu scramble, Ezekial toast

S- Nectarine

L- Black bean burger, baked sweet potato fries, grapes

S- pretzels, banana

D- pasta w/red sauce and cannellini beans, cauliflower, green beans, salad, baguette

Today-

B- 2 waffles, hazelnut milk, smoothie

S- coconut milk yogurt

L- pretzels, hummus, 2 flaxseed and nori rice cakes, nectarine

S- Asian pear, another rice cake

D- grilled tofu, black beans, cornbread muffins, cabbage, apple and beet slaw

She only weighs 52 lbs, but I swear she eats twice as much as I do! I don't knwo where she puts it all...

D- will be chikn pot pie from vegan lunchbox-I think I made the crust waay too thick.
