Reasons to be excited!!!!!

ok, not like we really need another 'reasons to...' thread, but a couple of times recently I had a reason to be excited, not necessarily reason to smile and so maybe other people do too!
My RTBE: I just bought my very first car!!!!! I get to pick it up next week, so have a little while before I get to drive it but yay!!
-I got mountain dew pitch black. I've been looking for this for a month.
-I'm going to get to see blink in September.
-Preston is fantastic and I love him so much.

We went to the centre of town basically just to wander around. DH is the only man I know who actually likes window shopping. He took it into his head to take me to C and A, which is one of the few shops here that might just possibly carry stuff in my size, now that I am no longer hugely overweight but not skinny-Spanishgirl. I couldn't believe it. They had nice summer tops in cotton and pale colours on sale!! I got 3 tops (one of them for only 7 Euros!) and a skirt for a total of 62 Euros. DH wants to take me back on Monday and get a couple more. He suggested that instead of trying to buy (expensive) summer dresses, I go for the separates look. It was nice to find larger sizes in a colour besides black, brown or beige. And in cotton, not synthetic! (Polyester = top hate and source of mockery. I left the US in 1979 to get away from polyester doubleknit!) AND I didn't even have to go downstairs to "the fatty's room." (ie huge sizes in horrible styles). Made my week.
I am totally not used to spending money on myself. Much more of this and I might become high maintenance!
I also bought myself a new sunhat in pale blue. Only 3 Euros!

Can you stock up on easy transportable vegan goodies to take with you to school so that you can stay vegan and not have to just have salad every day?

word. even with vegan options at school, stuff gets redundant, so i did this (stocked up on vegan goodies). it makes a big difference, 'cause it feels like a "treat" even if it's some noodle bowl.
I wented shoppin again yesterday. Got some kickass threads!! My favourite colours are everywhere (magenta, purple, lilac), natural fibres are BACK :w00t!:, they had stuff IN MY SIZE (yes I am shouting) that I could actually afford!! Came home with a pair of khaki-coloured pants (to stop buying every pair of pants in basic black), a lavendar shirt and real linen blouse in magenta. Said blouse came with a necklace! I thought someone had just hung it over the hanger to sort of show what you could do with it, but it was attached to the blouse with one of those plastic doohickeys!
I am sooo lowmaintenance usually. I am going to really enjoy tossing some of my shabbier clothes!!
What amazes me is to see such low prices at the start of the season. Trust me, for here, 30 Euros for a pair of pants is more than reasonable!! This just confirms that prices have been artificially high for a long time.
I have spent 140 Euros on myself in the last 3 days. I have not to get used to doing this, but I understand how easy it would be to totally lose your head.
Listening to blink while getting ready for work and my friend is sitting at her computer waiting for the tickets to go onsale

the problem is that I have absolutely no money whatsoever.... my board (food) is covered, so I have to eat what's provided. I'm talking with the manager for our dining hall to get more vegan options.
