Yo, Vegweb, it's gift exchange time! ALL PACKAGES SHOULD BE POSTED!
It seems it's that time again...
Post in this thread if you're keen on participating in a gift exchange with your fellow vegwebbers.
Theme/dates to be decided - any ideas welcome.
Standard guidelines apply - don't ask to participate if you have fewer than 1,000 posts or have not been actively posting on the forums for at least six months. Stick around, get to know people a bit more, and join in next time.

*GENERAL EXCHANGE GUIDELINES*
1. You must have been active on the forums for at least 6 months OR have 1,000 posts. If you've been here a while you're more likely to send out your package.
2. Don't flake on your partner, just like you wouldn't want your partner to flake on you. If you're unsure whether you'll have time/money to get a package together, don't sign up.
3. Bring it! Don't send out something crappy!
4. Homemade and/or store bought goodies are welcome.
5. This is an ALL VEGAN exchange.
Next time you guys do this gift exchange (I hope I will be able to participate), I want someone to send me Biscoff cookies and spread. I bought the spread today on my lunch break and oh my gosh, it's divine. I love the cookies but I think the spread is even better. I will love you forever if you send me some Biscoff products :)>>>
Why would someone need to send you some, if you have access to both?! You could get other thingsssssss. ;)
AC, surely you understand. I can buy and make chocolate chip cookies, but if someone wants to send me some... I would not be opposed.
I get what you mean though, but maybe the trip to get it is a hassle or something.
true, true.
eta: anyway, hope you do stick around to participate!
I would love to stick around to participate. Not only get things I like but new things that will become things I love. I also can't wait to bake some homemade goodies for someone.
I keep getting excited every time I hear a car out the window in case it's the post.
It's just nicer when someone sends you something you enjoy. I can easily go to the store and buy it, but it's definitely nicer when someone cool buys it for you. Then I can tell people that I didn't buy it, someone bought it for me and to not hassle me for having it haha.
yep, i know what you mean. You can go out and buy such-and-such treat, but if someone sends it to you, it's so enjoyable because it's a gift and you didn't have to go through the guilt of buying yourself a treat - someone else did it for you!
Like I'm pretty sure most people here would be stoked to get those GoMax bars in the mail, even if you can get them at your HFS. They're decadent and a bit pricey, so I don't buy them as often as I'd like to eat them :)
theo - i do the same thing if i know i'm supposed to get a package that day. i'll leave the blinds open and if i hear an engine i'll be all IS THAT UPS? J GO CHECK IF THAT'S UPS. GO!!
... yeah, packages are exciting.
At 5.50am the other morning I "heard" a knock at the door, leapt out of bed, grabbed my keys and ran downstairs thinking it was the courier and my package must have arrived.
Yea there was no one there. Bf was a little pissed that I woke him in my mad rush haha.
could the mail have come that early?!
Nope. Haha. I must have "heard" a knock in my sleep, and having been expecting a package immediately KNEW that must be it!
why hasn't my package arrived yet.......I posted a week and a half ago, and I live in super time travel land!

HaHa...that means in backwards land it's only been a week so it's still in transit. ;)

Just heard a car in the driveway and jumped up to the window, M looks on in bewilderment.
"What's that?"

Oh hey package that I sent. Where you at? Hmmm?
Yep. This is getting ridiculous! Everyone has shipped (I think) and no one is receiving their package. :(
yup, I've been in touch with a few people to let you know if your packages were expected to be a bit late, but I'm really hoping these last few start rolling in very very soon! This waiting is not great for my stress levels! : /
:(
no! no sad face! There are some awesome gifts in transit, and they're all going to arrive REALLY REALLY SOON!
HAPPY!!!!!
My package will probably arrive while I'm in miami. And I'll have to wait even longer! grrr. haha
