*GENERAL EXCHANGE GUIDELINES*
1. You must have been active on the forums for at least 6 months OR have 1,000 posts. If you've been here a while you're more likely to send out your package.
2. Don't flake on your partner, just like you wouldn't want your partner to flake on you. If you're unsure whether you'll have time/money to get a package together, don't sign up.
3. Bring it! Don't send out something crappy!
4. Homemade and/or store bought goodies are welcome.
5. This is an ALL VEGAN exchange.

The lovely Miss Theo was my gifter! I received a lovely hand made notebook from Nepal, a juice/smoothie recipe book (I'm now asking for a juicer for Christmas!), Rugby ball that dissolves into a hand towel when placed in water, a super fun Pukeko topped pencil, an All Blacks bib for Gavin, Anzac biscuits (tasty!!), 2 CD's from local bands that Theo herself has played with and pretty NZ earrings!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Inside was Lil VW and a notebook to document her travels! I know I don't get to keep her, but it is awesome to be the first on her long journey of visiting VW peeps. :)

I know the feeling. I mailed a cookbook as part of the cookbook exchanged over a month ago and it hasn't arrived. Sucks........I hope it get there for you soon.
One month is horrible! I hope yours gets there soon Tweety, I guess mine will be coming up on a month shortly as well, sigh, Godspeed little package.
tracking
It's the only way I've found for the USPS to deliver something properly.
Unless it's overseas.
tracking
Ditto
According to a report by the Postal Regulatory Commission, 96.1% of single-piece, overnight first-class mail was delivered on time during 2009. Cheaper deliveries, however, were less punctual. Two-day mail was on time 93.5% of the time. Package services on-time delivery was only 73.4% and media mail/periodicals was at 73.7%.
The moral to this story: if you want on time delivery, don't go for the cheapest postal rate. I used to work for the USPS and I can tell you first hand, the clerks and carriers don't give a shit whether you get your mail on time or not. Last month I was expecting a box from Amazon (and Amazon provides tracking information) and after arriving in St. Pete, it sat in the post office for three days undelivered. I had to accost my carrier in the street to complain. It was on my porch the next day.
Oh believe you me, she wasn't cheap :)
Just really hoping she gets there soon, today, today, today
Yay I am finally back from my jaunt to the wilds, great to see the pictures of the package safely arrived LLG! Glad you are happy :D
Shell the earrings are so so lovely and from the Bead Gallery shop on Willis St!
Sadly even after being away for a week there is no sign of a package here :S
